Big Bucks, and Then…Part 2

By George Kinder

This week’s The Distillery is Part 2 of a 3 part exercise in discovering what freedom means to you. In Part 1 we asked you to imagine a life in which money was not a concern. How then would you live your life? This goes a bit deeper and addresses time, one of our most precious resources.

To leave you with another Kinder quote, “Vigor comes to you by either a burning desire to escape something, or an over-reaching dream of freedom. Hard part is finding out what that freedom is for you and your family.”

Part 2 – Just a Few Years

Now imagine that you visit your doctor, who tells you that you have only 5-10 years to live. You won’t ever feel sick, but you will have no notice of the moment of your death. What will you do in the time you have remaining? Will you change your life and how will you do it? (Note that this question does not assume unlimited funds.)
